What gear as a beginner?

Hi people,

quite new to the community and really just about to start my muay thai journey after having 2 sessions and absolutely loving this sport.

I have to get my own gear now and maybe the 2nd Part of my question is dumb or I’m just too self conscious but:

1. What are good brands that are durable but don’t cost a fortune for the start. I’m intending to train 2 times a week and maybe increasing to 3 trainings once my body adapted.

2. Is wild colors or motives frowned upon if you just started ?

Like I’ve seen many really dope motives on shorts, gloves etc. but I don’t want to be one of those that has all the pro gear, though looks absolutely hilarious because I just started and cannot even kick with good technique if you know what I mean?😅

Not foreign so I’m afraid I can’t explain any better. Do you guys get my point ?
