Ive been training for around a year now. I still see myself feeling pre-spar nerves just like a beginner. It could be just cause im have severe underlying anxiety issues or lack of skills in the ring.
Tired of feeling so powerless all the time til i gotta skip sparring altogether. Would really like some other lesser known tips if there are any to get over the nerves or fears? I seriously thought that it would take a month or 2 only to really start ‘enjoying’ sparring like many others have said but i guess not.
Ps. I know that consistent exposure is one thing, anything else that i might not know of?
