Should I do a smoker

I am 18F I started training many Thai 6 months ago. I’ve been constantly training six days a week, four days fundamentalists, one day sparring and one day coaching. Im also training for a half marathon so im adding running into my routine. Last week my coach announced that they are going to hold a smoker in December and if anyone is interested to let him know. I am split on weather I should do it or not, on one hand I don’t want to absolutely suck and embarrass my gym and coach but on another hand would I be missing out on a opportunity. I would ask my coach but he’s the type of guy that says just do it or don’t but don’t be indecisive. Im want to improve I just don’t know what to do. If anyone has any advice or how long you guys trained before doing a smoker.

ps. The smoker is being held it my gym, my coach will be the ref, they will be no knockouts and it is a point fight, gear required
