Shin Splints

I practice go to Muay Thai classes 3-4X a week, and do yoga or hot yoga 3X a week. I’ve started developing shin splints and am unsure of what do to in order to help my legs heal. I’m assuming it’s coming from the Muay Thai. Classes have been really footwork and kick heavy the last week. I’m going to take a break but curious if this happens to anyone else and what you do?
