I’ve been training since October 2025, I love my gym, my coach and the whole rest of the team. Everyone is so supportive and always takes time to work with me on what I struggle with. I know in my heart I want to get into some amateur competition, I also stay in the gym working on my cardio and do strength training. I’ve changed my diet and pretty much my entire lifestyle. Training makes me SO incredibly happy but I have some nights like tonight where I just feel like maybe all I will ever be is just a hobbyist? I’m turning 34 and started super late, I have a hard time flowing during sparring and putting combos together but I do see myself improving. I’ve also been told by my coach that I’ve not really ever hit plateau yet either. For some reason I’m just feeling discouraged? I was terrible sparring tonight, and my head movement and ability to follow through just isn’t there a lot of the time. Just looking for some words of wisdom
