Only place I can hang my punching bag is over concrete. Advice? Shoes? Some type of mat?

Basically just the title. I’ve bought a hanging punching bag (Everlast Nevertear 100lbs, didn’t wanna spend much on my first bag).

I’m going to be hanging this under my raised deck (will be looking it over with my contractor buddy to make sure it’s safe/I hang it properly. I was already advised to get a good hanger with a spring, via some feedback on an earlier post.

My problem is this area is concrete. For punches that doesn’t matter that much (pivoting isn’t that extreme, and I have tough disgusting calloused feet) , but if I pivot for kicks, that’ll for sure tear me up. It’s old, rough concrete.

Any advice? I was thinking taping down cardboard, but it’s outside, so it’ll need to be replaced fairly frequently and that seems like an absurd pain in the ass. I don’t even know where I’d get that big of a piece of cardboard.

Or, probably the smarter option, I guess I could buy a mat? Any suggestions there? Good/affordable brands?

Any other options that you guys can think of? Would greatly appreciate any input.
