How to deal with (very) excessive sweating in Thailand? I am ruining the gym

I sweat a lot. Like a lot. I always have, and I’ve mostly accepted it is just the way I am. Especially in the gym, training Muay Thai or BJJ, etc it really doesn’t bother me. It doesn’t make me insecure. Swapping sweat with your partners is part of the sport, I figure, I accept that I’m going to get other people’s sweat all over me as well. And I’ve paid the exact same gym fees that everybody else has so I figure I have just as much right to be there, making a mess as anybody else does. I’m used to slipping around the mats while throwing punches and kicks myself. BUT I am starting to feel very self conscious about it for the simple fact that I know it is affecting other people’s training as well. I must sweat more than 10 people combined. Everywhere I go is scorched earth. If I use one of the bags, nobody else can use it afterwards. If I spar or do padwork in a certain corner of the gym, people are slipping around there until the very end of the class. I leave footprints every place I go, and my sweat doesn’t dissipate at all in the humid Thai climate. I’m a sensitive and considerate person. I have started bringing a full beach towel to class to dry off between activities but it makes little difference. I deliberately try to work around the periphery of the gym so that my sweat doesn’t pool in the center of the mats. But I still feel judged. The beginner-class trainer here asks me why I sweat so much and calls me a ‘toilet’ before (I assume) gossiping and giggling with some of the other padholders in that twangy Thai language. And no, this isn’t just banter because he isnt friendly with me at all. He pretty much ignores me otherwise.

I am thinking about buying some full length compression gear to wear under my shorts and shirt, but most people I read say they like to use that stuff “in the winter” and I am worried it is just going to cook me alive in my outdoor Thai gym. What the fuck am I supposed to do?! Any input, advice or reassurance would be appreciated…..
