Help with getting a good training schedule

This post was originally published on this site.

Good morning you animals.

I’m in a bit of an odd situation. I’ve been training MT for about 9 months now. I absolutely love the sport and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. When I started I was pretty overweight and although I know my body has gone through some good changes since I started training, i’ve eaten like shit so I can’t see any difference.

Now where it gets tricky is i’m also in the Army and they expect me to be at 195lbs. I’m currently 6’ tall and 231lbs.

I just started an aggressive cut yesterday to try and get to that number by new years. Here is my current training schedule:

Monday: MT (1hr) Tuesday: Run and Lift Wednesday: MT (2hrs) Thursday: Run and lift Friday: MT (2hrs) Saturday: Run and lift Sunday: Rest

Here are my cut macros:

1,758 kcal • 161 g protein • 161 g carbs • 50 g fat

Is my training schedule good enough?

What lifts will yield me the best results? (I’m tracking compound movements will be best but i’m not sure which specific ones to do.)

Should I stick to low volume high weight lifts?

What plyometrics should I implement for explosiveness?

Are there any lifts I can use to increase active mobility for higher kicks?

Thank you kings.
