I decided to start muay thai and already signed up for my first class but I’m so worried. I’m already overthinking. I want to gain confidence, become fit, and I really have an interest for the sport. But I’m anxious about how it’s gonna go. I’m worried that I won’t be as good as everyone else, that there won’t be anyone to help me or anyone I can be friends with. I’m worried about the fact that everyone knows each other and I’m still new. What if people start laughing at me??
As you can see, I’m overthinking a lot. So I want to be mentally prepared for this, and I still have three days left. I came on this sub to ask for advice on how to overcome these thoughts. How do I make the best of my first class? What should I expect? What was your experience like?
