Do you do KO’s and is points and other factors different for juniors/minors?

I’m 14 f and I’m considering joining. Well, I wanna but I gotta convince my parents. Idc personally about the KO or anything but my mom might and I’m just wondering if that’s a main focus for junior Muay Thai and is any moves or points different? Sorry if it’s a silly question google isn’t helping. I have no prior experience or knowledge to it this is just a freeball , it would be in a few months so I’d learn at home some stuff.
