after several months and basically a year of mainly training and drills, Ive sparred here n there and now starting to spar more. as I’m sparring more, I’ve become more confident and usually end up really happy and pumped after a sparring sesh, especially in the moment.
after a session, that happy feeling ends and for some reason, as I drive home, I have that feeling where I (for some reason) become a bit critical and think of split second moments I could have taken an opportunity to counter etc in one specific way, leaving me a bit dejected but still content, although not as greatly pleased as when ending a round sparring people.
ultimately, this then leads me to wanting to spar even more and more which I feel I need to be cautious about especially when it comes to protecting my health. Is this normal? Or how can someone explain this? I tend to see myself as just an MT enthusiast ; at the most may consider doing interclub fights n dats all, or at least that’s where I truly am in terms of ambition. I don’t any to spar like once every 2 weeks or 1-2 a week.
