Choosing mouth guard struggles

So I have a high canine which is basically a teeth on the gum and I wanted to buy a mouthguard but I realised that the teeth will make the mouthguard impossible to go in or it will poke out my lips. The coach doesn’t let us spar without mouthguard and definitely a big no to join a comp.

I tried asking dentist for a custom one but the price range is just too much, my parents is also struggling so I can’t put them in a much worse struggle. I’ve tried to find other ppl with this problem but couldn’t find any so I figured I should js ask in reddit.

Anyone got any suggestions or solutions? Really appreciate it.
