This month I’ve decided to try and learn Muay Thai. Have zero experience in any martial art.
I went to several recommended Muay Thai “gyms” in the city/Brooklyn area for their trial classes but they don’t seem to be equipped or interested in teaching absolute zero beginners. And it leads me to believe I’m looking at the wrong type of program.
I’m looking for a place that teaches, vs a place to practice what I already know. None of the gyms I went to taught me anything, I still don’t have any knowledge of the concept of what the right stance is… after going to 5 different gyms
Are there any schools that teach Muay Thai in the city to absolute beginners? Or is it just generally too expensive for these businesses to support that level in NYC?
