Hi all, I’ve been doing Muay Thai now for 3 years, and since starting, I’ve always had very low flexibility and mobility. I’ve always been limited to solely low kicks, since if I try a body kick, I telegraph heavily and I inevitably hurt myself when I try to go that high. Even with my low kicks, I can’t do a traditional MT power low kick, instead I opt for a less powerful but snappier K1 style kick, turning the shin inwards at the last second.
I had an X-Ray done and I was told I have a bilateral cam/pincer deformity which is limiting my ROM. I was wondering, has anyone else got the same thing? If so, how do you go about it? Am I essentially just limited to low kicks?
Thanks in advance!
