Looking to hang a 6ft heavy bag (roughly 40kg hand filled) from a length of 4×8 bracketed between the timber trusses in my garage. Pretty confident the timber is strong enough but I’m wanting to use this to hang the bag off. The weight limit is more than enough but feels weird using a Velcro strap.
