Hey everyone I’m 16 and I’ve done BJJ for 4.5 years now with some Muay Thai sprinkled in. Now, I’m 5 foot 10 and weigh 240lbs. And although I don’t look a pound over 200 with cloths on I very much look and feel like a fat ass when I’m wearing a rash guard or a t shirt.
I’ve found a Muay Thai/BJJ gym near me that fits my schedule, price range and is in walking distance, the only reason I haven’t started going is because I’m fat and scared of embarrassing myself.
Any tips?
Context – I’m also working on dropping right now via kettlebells.
