I prefer to go off to the left side, I mean it feels more intuitive to fire off some jabs and throw the cross down the center line, dominant angle and all. And it feels a lot more natural to go that direction after firing off a lead uppercut or hook. But I’ve noticed people get a lot of success from going the other way. I just sort of assumed it’s appealing to go there even without slipping, because the head or leg seems more exposed depending on how bladed you are. Aside from slipping or weaving a punch I can’t think of an easy way to get that angle. The best I can do is angling out with the rear low kick and going from there.
